The MAX14653/MAX14654/MAX14655 overvoltage protectiondevices feature a low 38mΩ (typ) RON internalFET and protect low-voltage systems against voltagefaults up to +28VDC. An internal clamp also protects thedevices from surges up to +80V. When the input voltageexceeds the overvoltage threshold, the internal FET isturned off to prevent damage to the protected downstreamcomponents.
