Characteristics
PSC fuses protect equipment against current loads of inadmissible magnitude
and duration. They contain two independent circuits and a visual indicator.
•
The main circuit
containing a fuse-link which interrupts the main circuit when
the permissible current is exceeded.
•
The signal circuit
with visual indicator and integrated auxiliary contact. This
contact closes the signal circuit following interruption of the fuse-link.
This causes the colour of the indicator to change, thereby facilitating the rapid
localization of the fault.
