Description
This document provides customer specifications for Advanced Light
Control Film ALCF-P ABR2
Applications
ALCF-P ABR2 is a microreplicated film that controls the amount of
light that passes through the film at high angles. At small angles, close to perpendicular to
the surface of the privacy filter, the majority of the incident light is transmitted through the
privacy filter. At angles outside of the 60 degree viewing angle, light is absorbed by the
black louvers providing the user with privacy.

Viewing Angle Definition

Viewing Angle – The sum of the angles (θ and
φ),
measured from the angle of
maximum transmission, at which only 5% of the maximum transmission is transmitted
through the film.

Attachment
Each ALCF-P ABR2 Privacy Filter is accompanied with two types of
attachment systems. The first is a selection of adhesive strips and the second is a set of
adhesive guides.
