Description
The ADLLX8PC is based on the AMD Geode™ LX embedded proces-
sors, with clock speeds up to 600MHz. It incorporates the full function-
ality of much larger boards into the compact and expandable form
factor of PC/104-Plus. At just 96mm x 90mm in size with a processor
power load as little as 0.9W, the ADLLX8PC is ideal for space con-
strained rugged, mobile and remote applications.
The graphics controller is integrated into the AMD Geode™ chipset
and can drive either a CRT though the VGA port, or LCD by way of an
18-bit LVDS interface. Up to 1GB of DDR-400 SDRAM can be in-
stalled into the SoDIMM200 socket. The ADLLX8PC power manage-
ment incorporates ACPI/APM functions. The standard ADLLX8PC
also incorporates PCI 2.2 Bus, EIDE,, 4xUSB 2.0, 2xRS232 COM
ports, PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse, parallel Printer, AC97 compatible
sound with SPDif In/Out, 10/100MBit LAN and more. Optionally, the
ADLLX8PC may be equipped with a built-in 4GB SSD flash. This
option will dramatically reduce the overall system footprint by provid-
ing a means of full system operation without the need for any type of
external media connection The ADLLX8PC meets all PC/104-Plus
electrical specifications, so it can be “dropped-in” to any compliant
system without changes. With its fast processor and its low power
consumption, the ADLLX8PC is ideal for embedded semi-custom
solutions.
