he Blackhawk™ USB100v2-ARM
is a very low-cost con-
troller for basic debugging of Texas Instruments DSPs. Re-
quiring no external power source, the USB100v2-ARM can
support most of the basic features of higher priced control-
lers and requires no additional drivers when installed using
CCS v4 or later.
As an added bonus, Texas Instruments offers Code Com-
poser Studio v4/v5 FREE for use with the USB100v2-ARM.

he USB100v2-ARM is a TI XDS100v2-compatible controller
fully supported under CCS v4/v5 and future Texas Instru-
ments roadmap software development environments.
The USB100v2-ARM provides for faster code downloads and
assembly code stepping in that the USB100v2-ARM uses a
high-speed USB2.0 (480 Mb/s) port instead of slower
USB1.x (12 Mb/s) implementations.

he USB100v2-ARM ships with two JTAG ribbon cables;
one for 20-pin ARM MULTI-ICE formats (0.100" x0.100"
spacing) and another for 10-pin ARM orientation (0.050" x
0.050" spacing).
This controller supports all of the devices supported by the TI
XDS100v2 reference design, but is focused on target boards
with 10 and 20-pin ARM JTAG connections (i.e. Stellaris and
OMAP boards).
