Product Description
CMQ1432 is a QFN plastic packaged PHEMT power amplifier module. The PAM is self-
contained with 50 ohm input and output terminals. The CMQ1432 is unconditionally stable and
the internal matching allows for a reduction in external components making this product a simple
and low cost solution. RoHS compliance and on-chip ESD protection make it an ideal solution in
all manufacturing environments. The PAM is intended for use as the final RF amplifier in
extended Ku-Band satellite applications.

Caution when handling.
Moisture Sensitivity Level
Package Moisture, MSL grading is applicable due to the temperature increase of board
assembly for lead free re-flow processing. This package is considered non hermetic
which provides concern for possible moisture entering the package. As such, Celeritek QA will
regard this package as moisture sensitive level 3 and we will perform a 24 hour bake at 150 deg.
to drive out moisture, followed immediately by Tape and Reel processing and vacuum purge dry
bag seal within 24 hours hours of the bake process. Moisture sensitive level label, desiccant and
moisture indicator card will be used to alert floor life of 168 hours in a controlled environment
(30deg C and 60% Rh), will be applied. Storage life in sealed dry bag is assumed to be 12
months.
It is recommended that the board assembler apply JEDEC 030 to determine shelf life after a bag
is opened.
