Description
The Greenlee EML100 is a universal electronic marker locating tool for locating Power,
Water, Sanitary, Telephone, Gas, Cable TV, and Non-Potable electronic markers.
Safety
Safety is essential in the use and maintenance of Greenlee tools and equipment. This
instruction manual and any markings on the tool provide information for avoiding hazards
and unsafe practices related to the use of this tool. Observe all of the safety information
provided.
Purpose of This Manual
This instruction manual is intended to familiarize all personnel with the safe operation
and maintenance procedures for the Greenlee EML100. Keep this manual available to all
personnel. Replacement manuals are available upon request at no charge
at www.greenlee.com.

Note: To use the EML100 with standard Water (blue) and Power (red) markers, it
is necessary to switch the unit from Euro mode to Standard mode. The EML100 is
shipped in Euro mode to comply with the radio regulations of various European
countries. For details on how to switch to Standard mode if outside the European
Union, go to www.greenlee.com and select the EML100 Product Support Page.
