GENERAL INFOR MATION
1 , The tool h as a double acting ratchet.

turrets. Wire crimp range 12 AWG to 2.6 AWG.
1. Tool must be 1n open position.
2. Pn:11s Turrcl: trigger latch which n:lea11c11
turret to indexing p oeition.
3. Place eelected Turret H8<ld aesembly onto
retainer ring with eocket hea d ecrews
l ln ed up with tapped holes.
4. After Turret Head ls seated against retainer
rfng, tighten socket head screws with 9/64
inch :socki:t head :screw key. Turri:t :should
index eas½y without binding.
5. R efer to dataplate on Turret H8<ld. From
the color code column, aelect the p ositioner
color that correeponde with the appropriate
part number and size of oontact to be crfmped.
S. With tool ln open p o$ltlon, and Turret ln
Indexing posltlon, rotate Turret untn color coded
positioner is in line with index mark. Pn:11:i
Turret unt½ it snaps into latched poeition.
7. Refer to Dataplate on Turret Head. F rom the
proper wire size column, determine the
selector number that corresponds w lth the
contact beln g used.
B. Remove :spring dip from Selector Knob,
Raiee Selector Knob and rotate until :selector
number ie in line with index mark. Replace
spring dip (optional).
CRIMPING I NSTRUCTIONS
1. l naert contact and prepared wire
through the indenter opening into Turret
poeltraner.
2. Squeeze handles together untll ratchet
releases. Handle will return to open position.

indenter tips.

There is virtually no maintenance required. Howev er, it is a good practice to keep
indenter tips free of r esidual color band deposits and o t her debris. A small wire
brush may be used for this purpose.
We strongly recommend that you:
