Description
The HHS04Z52 is a DC-DC converter that operates over an input voltage range of 36VDC to 75VDC and provides
regulated 52.5V output rated up to 3.8 amps (200 watts) of continuous output current. The output is fully isolated
from the input, which allows a positive or negative output voltage configuration.
This open-frame module is constructed with a two-board approach. The power devices are connected to an
Insulated Metal Substrate (IMS) baseplate which provides a very low thermal impedance and ability to add a heat
sink. A separate PCB is populated with the control circuitry and is physically isolated from the hotter IMS board.
This approach allows for lower component temperatures, hence increasing reliability. The standard feature set
includes remote on/off, remote sensing, UVLO, OTP, OVP, output trim and a dedicated pin that connects to the
baseplate.
