Description
The QMS Series of converters provide a single, isolated step-down voltage (3.3, 5 or 12 VDC nominal) from a
wide-input voltage range (18 – 60 VDC). The QMS is an excellent choice in applications where multiple input
voltage options are required. The designer can use a single QMS converter to cover both 24Vin and 48Vin input
ranges, eliminating the need to specify multiple circuit packs to handle each input range. This is particularly useful
in wireless base station applications where the power plants tend to vary and could provide nominal 24 or 48 V
input.
The QMS converters are highly efficient over the entire wide-input voltage range, cost-effective, and offer a low
profile, industry-standard quarter-brick footprint. The standard feature set includes remote on/off, remote output
voltage sensing, industry-standard output trim, input undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature shutdown with
hysteresis.
