The DS42MB100 is a signal conditioning 2:1 multiplexer and1:2 fan-out buffer designed for use in backplane redundancyor cable driving applications. Signal conditioning features includeinput equalization and programmable output pre-emphasisthat enable data communication in FR4 backplane upto 4.25 Gbps. Each input stage has a fixed equalizer to reduceISI distortion from board traces.
