文档简介
Although current-feedback amplifiers (CFAs) have been inuse for quite some time, there is a reluctance to view themin the same light as voltage-feedback amplifiers (VFAs). Forinstance, the gain-bandwidth curve of VFAs has a parallelin a transimpedance-bandwidth curve for CFAs. This parametercan be used to determine the closed-loop behaviorof the CFA in the same way that GBW can for the VFA. Notall the fault is with the users—the amplifier manufacturershave not standardized the CFA characterization as theyhave done with VFAs. This paper describes the CFA and itsbehavior in an intuitive manner.
