The MB88121B is a FlexRay* controller developed for vehicles that has a built-in FlexRay interface. The FlexRay controller complies with version 2.1 of the FlexRay consortium protocol specification and is able to be controlled from a parallel interface or serial interface with the host. The MB88121B contains PLL, connects to the crystal oscillation circuit (4/5/8/10 MHz), and generates the 80 MHz FlexRay operation clock . Also, it is possible to input the FlexRay operation clock externaly.
