Enclosure ConstructionCampbell Scientific enclosures are manufactured with non-corrosivepolyester and reinforced with fiberglass. These white UVstabilizedenclosures reflect solar radiation reducing temperaturegradients inside the enclosure without requiring a separate radiationshield. A door gasket, external grounding lug, stainless steelhinge, and lockable hasp are included. Our enclosures were ratedNEMA 6P before being modified to include a conduit or compressionfittings. An internal backplate is punched with a grid ofone-inch-on-center holes for mounting dataloggers, peripherals,and brackets.
