介绍了目前网络核心设备所存在的问题，分析了下一代交换机/路由器的功能需求，对所涉及的一些关键技术和体系结构问题进行了研究，讨论了关系到交换网络扩展性的光背板和体系结构技术、大容量交换单元技术和交换网络结构等问题，明确了下一代核心路由系统的发展反向。关 键 词 交换机; 路由器; T比特; 光背板; 体系结构Abstract In this paper, we described the existing problems in current network core equipments. From this point of view, we discussed the key requirements for the next generation core switch/router.
