文档简介
The High–Speed Micro’s serial interfaces are functionallyidentical to those found on other lower performance8051 processors. They are based on a Universal Synchronous/Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter(USART) implementation. As the name implies, aUSART converts parallel data to and from a synchronousor asynchronous serial bit stream. The paralleldata side of the device interfaces with the processor’sinternal data bus, and the serial side interfaces with theoutside world. This application note describes the setupand operation of the most commonly encountered operatingmodes of this interface.
