In order to compensate tolerances ofthe FM demodulator which supplied the composite inputsignal, the TDA9855 provides an input level adjustmentstage. The control range is from -3.5 to +4.0 dB in steps of0.5 dB. The subaddress control 3 of Tables 5 and 6 andthe level adjust setting of Table 22 allows an optimumsignal adjustment during the set alignment in theproduction line. This value has to be stored in anon-volatile memory. The maximum input signal voltage is2 V (RMS).
