Radiotronix offers a line of 50 ohm antennas to assist customers in the design of our
Wi.232 product family of modules. The Standard Polarity SMA antennas and connectors
support our Evalution Modules (EVMs) that are supplied with our development tools,
and enable engineers flexibility in evaluation and prototyping.
Radiotronix offers Reverse Polarity SMA antennas and connectors, which fall within the
FCC’s definition of a non-standard or proprietary connector, which are intended to
support production ramp-up for certified modules.
Standard Polarity Antennas and Connectors
Radiotronix offers standard polarity antennas and connectors to support development
modules and test equipment. These products will be identified as “SMA” in product
descriptions. All standard polarity antennas will be male and have a “center pin.” All
standard polarity connectors will be female and will not have a “center pin.”

Reverse Polarity Antennas and Connectors
For certification, the FCC/ETSI rules call for non-standard or proprietary antennas and
connectors. Radiotronix offers a complete line of antenna and connector products
that meet these rules and support our line of certified radio modules. These
products will be identified as “RPSMA” in product descriptions. All reverse polarity
antennas will be female and will not have a “center pin.” All reverse polarity connectors
will be male and will have a “center pin.”
