With the progress of the technologies for LCD displays,
transmission speed is also increasing. In addition,
the demand for thinner LCDs is increasing.
We had been developing the FI-X Series,
a
connector compatible with high-speed
differential transmission to meet such a demand.
In response to a growing demand for a slimmer type,
we developed the FI-A Series.

Drastically improved grounding which is directly related to EMI characteristics.
1.0mm connector height and 0.6 mm height above the PCB thanks to bottom type structure.
1mm contact pitch with impedance matching.
Board mounting dimensions and applicable board dimensions compatible with FI-X Series.
Compatible with FPC and cable by common use of board header.
Enables stable grounding to the PCB thanks to FPC relay used in other FI Series connectors.
