Features
• UV resistant film backing and adhesive resists the effects of UV for:
- Protective UV tapes 2AU23B/UV and 2AU26B/UV – up to 90 days*
- Protective UV tapes 31U23C/UV and 31U26C/UV – up to five months*
• Removes clean after UV exposure.
• Translucent clear and blue color allow for visual inspection of parts.
• Non-staining and non-corrosive adhesive.
• Adheres to metals, plastics and glass surfaces.
• Stable adhesion levels result in good removability during application life.

performance was generated from actual exposure in South Eastern USA on selected painted metal surfaces.
Accelerated laboratory weathering tests were performed on representative painted metal surfaces.
Pre-qualification
testing at 3M PolyMask may not predict actual results obtained under customer process and environmental
conditions and use on specific substrates so customer qualification testing and evaluation are required prior
to use.

Application Techniques
• For optimum performance, 3M™ Protective Tapes should be applied and removed
at a temperature not less than 60°F (16°C).
Storage
Store under normal conditions of 60° to 80°F (16° to 27°C) and 40 to 60% R.H. in
the original carton.
Shelf Life
To obtain best performance, use this product within 12 months from date of
manufacture.
