Metal film milli-ohm (10~300m

) chip resistors (CRM) are made in chip size
from 0201 to 2512
for Calchip.
These resistors apply as current detecting resistor for
applications such as power supplies, computers, HDDs, Cellular telephones, etc.

6. Marking:
From 0805 to 2512:
Resistance value is expressed by 4 digits, the first “R” means decimal point and the other
digits represent for the normal resistance in
Ω.
eg., 15mΩ= R015, 100mΩ= R100,
For 0603:
The marking of
CRM06
can not represent by 4 digits but by 3 digits.
(a) Resistance value higher than or equals to 100mΩ is represented by E96 series. However,
for resistance value not in the list of E96, 3 digitals with underline in E24 series is used.
eg., 100mΩ= 01Z, 200mΩ= 08Z, 120mΩ= 012
(b) Resistance value lower than 100mΩ is represented by 2 digits plus a symbol L.
eg., 10mΩ= 10L, 20mΩ= 20L, 47mΩ= 47L
For 0402 and 0201: No Marking.
