General Purpose Ceramic Disc capacitors
This type of general purpose Ceramic Disc Capacitor is suitable for several cicuit applications:
Class 1 Materials for Temperature Compensating capacitors, tuning and were a linear function
with change of temperature is required.
Class 2 materials are most suitable for applications were capacitance is required , without
much sensitivity for temperature variations : such as " coupling" or " by-pass " functions.
The construction is with a Ceramic Dielectric body ,
Silverpainted metalization and soldered wires
The body is encapsulated with phenolic resin for those less then 1000VDC or lower Rated Voltage.
Capacitors with 2000V or 3000V DC are coated with Epoxy . This is also possible for 1000V DC.
